J. Michael O’Dell CIO, Pacific Coast Companies, Inc. (PCCI)

Mike O'Dell has earned a reputation as a charismatic and results-oriented leader due to his ability to move beyond the concept of IT “alignment” with business to instead making IT goals and deliverables an integral, seamless part of business operations and strategies. Mike has applied the leadership skills he gained in the Marines with his engineer’s mind to build a skilled, highly-motivated team of IT professionals that methodically implement solutions for Pacific Coast that were recently estimated by company CFOs to provide a fourfold annual return on investment. Prior to joining PCCI, Mike was the Director of Information Systems at Wacker Silicones Corporation where he had authority over the North American Silicones Division SAP/R3 implementation project for this worldwide chemical company. He also coordinated information system standards between America and Europe. Mike earned his Electrical Engineering degree from Chapman University and studied Computer Science at Michigan State University. He is a founding and active member of the Americas' SAP Users' Group CIO/CTO Executive Exchange.
